On November 22, 2023, Nexus Communication welcomed the Automotive industry in Lisbon,Portugal for the FleetEurope Days and Dataforce had the pleasure of being part of it.
This year’s Fleet Europe Days – the leading international conference for all fleet and mobility executives – took place in Lisbon on 22-23 November and attracted more than 1,200 decision-makers from over 35 countries.
The event helps to navigate the innovations in new financial models, mobility as a service, connectivity, electrification, car remarketing and new technologies in safety, last mile, ADAS and autonomous vehicles.
Starting the event with the Remarketing Forum
The first day of this fair is focusing on the educational sessions for fleet and mobility managers, the Remarketing Forum. This conference focuses on learning through keynote presentations, sharing best practice and highlighting new developments, allowing attendees to network and create new business opportunities.
Spending the second day at the Fleet Europe Village
The second day of the event began with the so called “Inspiring women in Fleet” breakfast. This movement celebrated its first anniversary in Lisbon and offered a mix of inspiring discussions, educational workshops, and networking opportunities to focus on gender equality in fleet and mobility. The breakfast was warmly received by our team member Celine Kuger, who attended.
Meanwhile, the doors were already opening to the first visitors and the Dataforce team were looking forward to welcoming visitors to their stand again this year. Located in front of the bar on stand number 40, the Dataforce team was able to speak to many customers, as well as potential new customers and interested visitors. As well as presenting product highlights such as the new Explorer Dashboard, the team also shared insights from recent studies, namely the User Chooser study and the EU5 leasing study.
During the exhibition day, the Fleet Europe Conferences also took place on stage. The Summit’s many presentations delivered actionable and inspiring leadership content. Our CEO Marc Odinius once again contributed to the presentations! He gave his speech on “Fleet Sales Outlook Passenger Cars & LCV in Europe”. In this presentation, he not only looked at the development of channels and fuel types in the EU and the importance of the fleet market, but also highlighted which brands are performing particularly well in the electric vehicle sector.
Closing the event with an awards ceremony
The two-day event concluded with the presentation of the Fleet Europe Awards, designed to recognise industry players who excel and make a significant contribution to current trends and challenges in the mobility industry. This year’s award winners are positive examples of success in sustainability, quality and as role models for others.
The awards ceremony was followed by an after-show party. It was an eventful few days for our team in Lisbon, making many new contacts and catching up with old friends. All in all, it was another great event with an interesting audience. We are already looking forward to seeing you in Milan next year!
