AUSTRIA: Fleet market up in 2022, also Private sales up

So far this year 9,3 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in  Austria, which is 2,1 thousand more than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 16,1 thousand, up with 1,8 thousand units. Private Sales increased with 43,8%, which represent around 1,6 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the DACIA SANDERO with 403 sales, followed by the SKODA FABIA (146), and the CUPRA BORN (139). Number 1 fleet seller has been the VW TRANSPORTER (373) so far, while the VW POLO (340) comes in second. The podium is completed by the SKODA OCTAVIA (319).

BELGIUM: Fleet market up in 2022, but Private sales down

So far this year 17,8 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in Belgium, which is 0,4 thousand more than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 34,5 thousand, down with -3,8 thousand units. Private Sales decreased with -21,2%, which represent around -3,5 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the DACIA SANDERO with 863 sales, followed by the DACIA DUSTER (437), and the PEUGEOT 208 (387). Number 1 fleet seller has been the VOLVO XC40 (555) so far, while the PEUGEOT 2008 (546) comes in second. The podium is completed by the BMW X1 (516).

CZECH REPUBLIC: SKODA OCTAVIA is the best sold car in January

In January the Market was 9,9% higher than last year and stands now at 16,3 thousand units.

Also last year January the SKODA OCTAVIA was the best sold car, but then with 1366 registrations. The star performer was the SKODA OCTAVIA, with 908 units more. Other models on the podium were the SKODA FABIA with 1037 registrations, followed by the SKODA SUPERB with 907 units. Completing the Top 10: SKODA SCALA (685), SKODA KAMIQ (620), SKODA KODIAQ (586), SKODA KAROQ (510), HYUNDAI I30 (497), DACIA SANDERO (449) and the HYUNDAI TUCSON (423).

FINLAND: TOYOTA COROLLA TOURING SPORTS is the best sold car in January

In January the Market was -15,9% lower than last year and stands now at 7,9 thousand units.

This month the TOYOTA COROLLA TOURING SPORTS is the best selling car with 419 vehicles. Last years number 1, the SKODA OCTAVIA can this year be found on position 6 of the ranking. The star performer was the TOYOTA YARIS CROSS, with 188 units more. Other models on the podium were the TOYOTA RAV4 with 334 registrations, followed by the TOYOTA C-HR with 275 units. Completing the Top 10: TOYOTA YARIS (272), VOLVO XC60 (240), SKODA OCTAVIA (226), KIA CEED (207), NISSAN QASHQAI (196), TOYOTA YARIS CROSS (188) and the FORD KUGA (147).

FRANCE: PEUGEOT 208 is the best sold car in January

In January the Market was -18,6% lower than last year and stands now at 102,9 thousand units.

This month the PEUGEOT 208 is the best selling car with 7568 vehicles. Last years number 1, the DACIA SANDERO can this year be found on position 7 of the ranking. The star performer was the RENAULT ARKANA, with 2267 units more. Other models on the podium were the RENAULT CLIO with 4988 registrations, followed by the PEUGEOT 2008 with 4798 units. Completing the Top 10: CITROEN C3 (4381), PEUGEOT 3008 (3594), RENAULT CAPTUR (3593), DACIA SANDERO (3554), RENAULT ARKANA (2267), DACIA DUSTER (2203) and the TOYOTA YARIS CROSS (2045).

GERMANY: Fleet market up in 2022, also Private sales up

So far this year 58,8 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in Germany, which is 0,4 thousand more than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 184,1 thousand, up with 14,3 thousand units. Private Sales increased with 32%, which represent around 15,6 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the VW T-ROC with 2515 sales, followed by the DACIA SANDERO (1747), and the MINI ONE/COOPER (1449). Number 1 fleet seller has been the SKODA OCTAVIA (2485) so far, while the VW GOLF (2214) comes in second. The podium is completed by the BMW 3 SERIES (1700).

GREECE: TOYOTA YARIS is the best sold car in January

In January the Market was -27,7% lower than last year and stands now at 5,6 thousand units.

Also last year January the TOYOTA YARIS was the best sold car, but then with 564 registrations. The star performer was the TOYOTA YARIS CROSS, with 213 units more. Other models on the podium were the OPEL CORSA with 271 registrations, followed by the TOYOTA YARIS CROSS with 213 units. Completing the Top 10: TOYOTA COROLLA (206), DACIA DUSTER (194), JEEP RENEGADE (182), CITROEN C3 (180), TOYOTA C-HR (174), OPEL CROSSLAND X (164) and the NISSAN QASHQAI (150).

HYUNDAI has the biggest increase of the Dutch market compared to 2021, with 1200 registrations more. BMW meanwhile is struggling, with -1500 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the Dutch market has decreased with -11,3 %. The winners in the following order: HYUNDAI, RENAULT and DACIA. Brands in trouble are BMW, VOLVO and SKODA. The best sold brand over the year is: VW, followed by TOYOTA and PEUGEOT.

SPAIN: Performace brands

TOYOTA has the biggest increase of the Spanish market compared to 2021, with 1800 registrations more. SEAT meanwhile is struggling, with -2400 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the Spanish market has decreased with -0,8 %. The winners in the following order: TOYOTA, KIA and VW. Brands in trouble are SEAT, RENAULT and DACIA. The best sold brand over the year is: TOYOTA, followed by PEUGEOT and KIA.

SWEDEN: Performance brands

KIA has the biggest increase of the Swedish market compared to 2021, with 800 registrations more. MERCEDES meanwhile is struggling, with -700 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the Swedish market has decreased with -4,8 %. The winners in the following order: KIA, FORD and MG. Brands in trouble are MERCEDES, VOLVO and BMW. The best sold brand over the year is: VOLVO, followed by KIA and VW.

UNITED KINGDOM: KIA SPORTAGE is the best sold car in January

In January the Market was 27,5% higher than last year and stands now at 115,1 thousand units.

This month the KIA SPORTAGE is the best selling car with 3458 vehicles. Last years number 1, the OPEL CORSA can this year be found on position 5 of the ranking. The star performer was the OPEL MOKKA, with 2187 units more. Other models on the podium were the FORD PUMA with 2608 registrations, followed by the KIA NIRO with 2372 units. Completing the Top 10: MINI ONE/COOPER (2313), OPEL CORSA (2285), HYUNDAI TUCSON (2236), OPEL MOKKA (2194), FORD FOCUS (1822), VW T-ROC (1813) and the MERCEDES A CLASS (1768).
