In November the Market was down vs. last year with -19,8%. Year to date, the total market is however up with 15%, and is now at 697,3k units.

The Australian market slowed down in November with a decrease of -13,9k units. The total market so far for the year is 697,3k units, up with 90,7k units. The monthly decrease is mainly driven by TOYOTA (-6834), MAZDA (-3923) and NISSAN (-1278). For the full year, the most sold brands are: TOYOTA (135835), MAZDA (79619) and HYUNDAI (64060).

CZECH REPUBLIC: Fleet market up in 2021, but Private Sales down

So far this year 102 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in the Czech Republic, which is 16,1 thousand more than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 190,7 thousand, up with 8,1 thousand units. Private Sales decreased with -4,7%, which represent around -2,3 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the HYUNDAI I30 with 3471 sales, followed by the SKODA KAMIQ (3026), and the HYUNDAI TUCSON (2771). Number 1 fleet seller has been the SKODA FABIA (10442) so far, while the SKODA OCTAVIA (9292) comes in second. The podium is completed by the SKODA SCALA (5718).

ESTONIA: The passenger car market decreased in November, whereas the commercial vehicle market improved

The passenger car market decreased by -6,1% to 1450 units, whereas the commercial vehicle market increased by 9,7% to 317 units.

2021 biggest passenger cars brands in Estonia are: TOYOTA, SKODA and VW. The top ranked commercial vehicle brands are CITROEN, RENAULT and TOYOTA. Best sold model so far is the TOYOTA RAV4, with 1396 registrations, followed by the SKODA OCTAVIA, that found 1048 customers. The podium is completed by the 635 units of the KIA CEED. For commercial vehicles, the best sold vehicles are the CITROEN BERLINGO (391), the PEUGEOT PARTNER (351), and the RENAULT MASTER with 308 units.

FRANCE: Fleet market up in 2021, but Private Sales down

So far this year 435,1 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in France, which is 41,8 thousand more than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 1500,9 thousand, up with 37,1 thousand units. Private Sales decreased with -6,8%, which represent around -48,1 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the DACIA SANDERO with 63830 sales, followed by the PEUGEOT 208 (32735), and the PEUGEOT 2008 (27082). Number 1 fleet seller has been the RENAULT CLIO (35785) so far, while the PEUGEOT 2008 (26593) comes in second. The podium is completed by the PEUGEOT 3008 (26267).

GREECE: The passenger car market decreased in November, whereas the commercial vehicle market improved

The passenger car market decreased by -7,3% to 7131 units, whereas the commercial vehicle market increased by 16,4% to 867 units.

2021 biggest passenger cars brands in Greece are: TOYOTA, PEUGEOT and HYUNDAI. The top ranked commercial vehicle brands are FORD, FIAT and TOYOTA. Best sold model so far is the TOYOTA YARIS, with 4825 registrations, followed by the PEUGEOT 208, that found 3407 customers. The podium is completed by the 3211 units of the CITROEN C3. For commercial vehicles, the best sold vehicles are the TOYOTA HILUX (992), the FIAT DOBLO (675), and the FORD RANGER with 621 units.

LUXEMBOURG: FIAT 500E is the best sold car in November

In November the Market was -16,6% lower than last year. In addition, the year so far is negative, with a -1,7% decrease, and stands now at 41,1 thousand units.

This month the FIAT 500E is the best selling car with 103 vehicles. Last years number 1, the RENAULT CLIO can this year be found on position 5 of the ranking. The star performer was the FIAT 500E, with 101 units more. Other models on the podium were the PEUGEOT 208 with 86 registrations, followed by the VW T-ROC with 77 units. NETHERLANDS: SKODA ENYAQ IV is the best sold car in November

In November the Market was -17,5% lower than last year. In addition, the year so far is negative, with a -8,3% decrease, and stands now at 287,3 thousand units.

This month the SKODA ENYAQ IV is the best selling car with 998 vehicles. Last years number 1, the VW ID.3 can this year be found on position 24 of the ranking. The SKODA ENYAQ IV was also biggest winner of the market, with an increase of 998 cars. Other models on the podium were the KIA NIRO with 992 registrations, followed by the VW POLO with 698 units. Completing the Top 10: PEUGEOT 208 (668), LYNK & CO 01 (649), RENAULT CLIO (626), TOYOTA AYGO (588), KIA PICANTO (577), VW ID.4 (535) and the FORD FOCUS (503).

PORTUGAL: Performance brands November

HYUNDAI has the biggest increase of the Portuguese market compared to 2020, with 2400 registrations more. MERCEDES meanwhile is struggling, with -2300 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the Portuguese market has increased with 2,6 %. The winners in the following order: HYUNDAI, TOYOTA and KIA. Brands in trouble are MERCEDES, FIAT and RENAULT. The best sold brand over the year is: RENAULT, followed by PEUGEOT and BMW.

ROMANIA: Performance brands November

TOYOTA has the biggest increase of the Romanian market compared to 2020, with 2400 registrations more. DACIA meanwhile is struggling, with -4300 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the Romanian market has decreased with -0,9 %. The winners in the following order: TOYOTA, HYUNDAI and FORD. Brands in trouble are DACIA, RENAULT and SKODA. The best sold brand over the year is: DACIA, followed by HYUNDAI and TOYOTA.

SOUTH AFRICA: Fleet market down in 2021, but Private Sales up

So far this year 15,4 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in South Africa, which is -2,2 thousand less than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 278,6 thousand, up with 56,6 thousand units. Private Sales increased with 21,8%, which represent around 40 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the VW POLO with 15948 sales, followed by the VW POLO VIVO (14160), and the TOYOTA STARLET (7754). Number 1 fleet seller has been the VW POLO (2479) so far, while the VW POLO VIVO (1026) comes in second. The podium is completed by the BMW 3 SERIES (875).

SPAIN: Performance brands November

HYUNDAI has the biggest increase of the Spanish market compared to 2020, with 11400 registrations more. NISSAN meanwhile is struggling, with -6700 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the Spanish market has increased with 1,5 %. The winners in the following order: HYUNDAI, KIA and CUPRA. Brands in trouble are NISSAN, MERCEDES and DACIA. The best sold brand over the year is: PEUGEOT, followed by SEAT and VW.

UNITED KINGDOM: The market went up in November

The passenger car market grew +1,7% to 115706 units, and the commercial vehicle market increased by +10,3% to 31520 units. 

2021 biggest passenger cars brands in United Kingdom are: VW, FORD and AUDI. The top ranked commercial vehicle brands are FORD, VW and MERCEDES. Best sold model so far is the OPEL CORSA, with 38306 registrations, followed by the MERCEDES A CLASS, that found 36753 customers. The podium is completed by the 29478 units of the VW POLO. For commercial vehicles, the best sold vehicles are the FORD TRANSIT CUSTOM (49153), the FORD TRANSIT (31661), and the MERCEDES SPRINTER with 23602 units.

CZECH REPUBLIC: October performance

In October the Market was down vs. last year with -24,7%. Year to date, the total market is however up with 5,7%, and is now at 174,5k units. 

The Czech market slowed down in October with a decrease of -4,1k units. The total market so far for the year is 174,5k units, up with 9,3k units. The monthly decrease is mainly driven by SKODA (-2343), VW (-775) and DACIA (-447). For the full year, the most sold brands are: SKODA (59832), HYUNDAI (16415) and VW (15041).

DENMARK: Fleet market down, also Private sales down

So far this year 53,3 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in Denmark, which is -2,2 thousand less than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 153,8 thousand, down with -4,2 thousand units. Private Sales decreased with -9,9%, which represent around -7,7 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the FORD KUGA with 3700 sales, followed by the CITROEN C3 (3144), and the TOYOTA YARIS (2088). Number 1 fleet seller has been the BMW 3 SERIES (2297) so far, while the MERCEDES C CLASS (1842) comes in second. The podium is completed by the TOYOTA YARIS (1470).

FINLAND: October performance

In October the Market was down vs. last year with -11,8%. Year to date, the total market is however up with 5,4%, and is now at 85,2k units. 

The Finnish market slowed down in October with a decrease of -0,9k units. The total market so far for the year is 85,2k units, up with 4,3k units. The monthly decrease is mainly driven by SKODA (-422), NISSAN (-174) and TOYOTA (-166). For the full year, the most sold brands are: TOYOTA (12861), VW (9040) and SKODA (7667).

FRANCE: Fleet market up, but Private sales down

So far this year 394,6 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in France, which is 45,3 thousand more than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 1378,9 thousand, up with 41,2 thousand units. Private Sales decreased with -6,9%, which represent around -44,4 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the DACIA SANDERO with 59102 sales, followed by the PEUGEOT 208 (29811), and the PEUGEOT 2008 (24496). Number 1 fleet seller has been the RENAULT CLIO (31861) so far, while the PEUGEOT 3008 (24768) comes in second. The podium is completed by the PEUGEOT 2008 (23584).

GERMANY: Performance brands October

OPEL has the biggest increase of the German market compared to 2020, with 21700 registrations more. MERCEDES meanwhile is struggling, with -56100 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the German market has decreased with -5,2 %. The winners in the following order: OPEL, CUPRA and TESLA. Brands in trouble are MERCEDES, FORD and SKODA. The best sold brand over the year is: VW, followed by BMW and MERCEDES.

GREECE: The market went up in October

The passenger car market grew +17,1% to 6397 units, and the commercial vehicle market increased by +118,8% to 873 units.

2021 biggest passenger cars brands in Greece are: TOYOTA, PEUGEOT and HYUNDAI. The top ranked commercial vehicle brands are FORD, FIAT and TOYOTA. Best sold model so far is the TOYOTA YARIS, with 4550 registrations, followed by the PEUGEOT 208, that found 3097 customers. The podium is completed by the 3089 units of the OPEL CORSA. For commercial vehicles, the best sold vehicles are the TOYOTA HILUX (904), the FIAT DOBLO (646), and the PEUGEOT PARTNER with 610 units.

ITALY: FIAT PANDA is the best sold car in October

In October the Market was -34,8% lower than last year. However, the year so far is still positive, growing 13,8%, which results in 1306,5 thousand units.

Also last year October the FIAT PANDA was the best sold car, but then with 15205 registrations. The star performer was the FIAT 500E, with 1002 units more. Other models on the podium were the FIAT 500 with 3117 registrations, followed by the LANCIA YPSILON with 3014 units. Completing the Top 10: JEEP RENEGADE (2317), CITROEN C3 (2267), RENAULT CAPTUR (2161), JEEP COMPASS (2036), DACIA SANDERO (1867), PEUGEOT 2008 (1819) and the VW T-CROSS (1791).

LUXEMBOURG: PEUGEOT 208 is the best sold car in October

In October the Market was -25,8% lower than last year. In addition, the year so far is negative, with a -0,2% decrease, and stands now at 38 thousand units.

This month the PEUGEOT 208 is the best selling car with 81 vehicles. Last years number 1, the MERCEDES GLC, GLK CLASS can this year be found on position 7 of the ranking. The star performer was the FIAT 500E, with 80 units more. Other models on the podium were the FIAT 500E with 80 registrations, followed by the BMW 3 SERIES with 66 units. Completing the Top 10: MERCEDES A CLASS (65), RENAULT CLIO (64), PEUGEOT 2008 (60), MERCEDES GLC, GLK CLASS (57), OPEL CORSA (56), HYUNDAI TUCSON (53) and the MERCEDES GLA CLASS (46).

NETHERLANDS: KIA NIRO is the best sold car in October

In October the Market was -23,7% lower than last year. In addition, the year so far is negative, with a -7,1% decrease, and stands now at 260,1 thousand units.

This month the KIA NIRO is the best selling car with 1056 vehicles. Last years number 1, the VW ID.3 can this year be found on position 28 of the ranking. The star performer was the LYNK & CO 01, with 578 units more. Other models on the podium were the FORD FOCUS with 908 registrations, followed by the OPEL CORSA with 629 units. NORWAY: Performance brands October

TESLA has the biggest increase of the Norwegian market compared to 2020, with 10300 registrations more. MITSUBISHI meanwhile is struggling, with -1300 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the Norwegian market has increased with 29,7 %. The winners in the following order: TESLA, FORD and VOLVO. Brands in trouble are MITSUBISHI, VW and RENAULT. The best sold brand over the year is: TESLA, followed by VW and TOYOTA.

SLOVAKIA: Fleet market up, but Private sales down

So far this year 30 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in Slovakia, which is 1,3 thousand more than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 66,1 thousand, up with 2 thousand units. Private Sales decreased with -8,6%, which represent around -2 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the HYUNDAI I30 with 1260 sales, followed by the HYUNDAI TUCSON (994), and the SKODA FABIA (779). AUDI has the biggest increase of the Swiss market compared to 2020, with 2600 registrations more. RENAULT meanwhile is struggling, with -2200 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the Swiss market has increased with 5,6 %. The winners in the following order: AUDI, VW and TOYOTA. Brands in trouble are RENAULT, MITSUBISHI and FORD. The best sold brand over the year is: VW, followed by MERCEDES and BMW.

So far this year 533 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in the United Kingdom, which is 48,1 thousand more than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 1422,9 thousand, up with 38,3 thousand units. Private Sales increased with 4,1%, which represent around 27,2 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the FORD FIESTA with 19604 sales, followed by the MERCEDES A CLASS (18523), and the VW POLO (17906). VW has the biggest increase of the Austrian market compared to 2020, with 3700 registrations more. RENAULT meanwhile is struggling, with -1100 less registrations.

BELGIUM: September performance

The Belgian market continued to go down in September with a decrease of -9,6k units.

The total market so far for the year is 319,9k units, down with -18,4k units. The monthly decrease is mainly driven by MERCEDES (-1241), RENAULT (-1117) and PEUGEOT (-1096). For the full year, the most sold brands are: BMW (31939), VW (29754) and PEUGEOT (23023).

The passenger car market grew +2,9% to 1784 units, and the commercial vehicle market increased by +3,3% to 314 units.

2021 biggest passenger cars brands in Estonia are: TOYOTA, SKODA and VW. The top ranked commercial vehicle brands are RENAULT, CITROEN and TOYOTA. Best sold model so far is the TOYOTA RAV4, with 1254 registrations, followed by the SKODA OCTAVIA, that found 955 customers. The podium is completed by the 506 units of the KIA CEED. For commercial vehicles, the best sold vehicles are the CITROEN BERLINGO (314), the PEUGEOT PARTNER (306), and the RENAULT MASTER with 290 units.

FINLAND: Passenger car market down in September, as well as the commercial vehicle market

The passenger car market went down by -22,4% to 6534 units, the commercial vehicle market contracted with -8,5% to 1060 units.

2021 biggest passenger cars brands in Finland are: TOYOTA, VW and SKODA. The top ranked commercial vehicle brands are FORD, VW and MERCEDES. Best sold model so far is the TOYOTA YARIS, with 3475 registrations, followed by the TOYOTA COROLLA TOURING SPORTS, that found 3258 customers. The podium is completed by the 3248 units of the SKODA OCTAVIA. The total market so far for the year is 2017,6 thousand, down with -24,2 thousand units. Private Sales decreased with -8,9%, which represent around -66,1 thousand vehicles. HUNGARY: September performance

In September the Market was down vs. last year with -16,8%. Year to date, the total market is however up with 4,9%, and is now at 94,6k units.

The Hungarian market slowed down in September with a decrease of -2k units. The total market so far for the year is 94,6k units, up with 4,4k units. The monthly decrease is mainly driven by DACIA (-479), FORD (-411) and SKODA (-278). For the full year, the most sold brands are: SUZUKI (14114), TOYOTA (9437) and FORD (7888).

ICELAND: The passenger car market increased in September, but the commercial vehicle market went down

The passenger car market grew by +24,7% to 1400 units, the commercial vehicle market declined -21% to 83 units.

2021 biggest passenger cars brands in Iceland are: KIA, TOYOTA and HYUNDAI. The top ranked commercial vehicle brands are FORD, TOYOTA and RENAULT. Best sold model so far is the TOYOTA RAV4, with 547 registrations, followed by the MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER, that found 516 customers. The podium is completed by the 499 units of the HYUNDAI TUCSON. In September the Market was -41,3% lower than last year. In addition, the year so far is negative, with a -7% decrease, and stands now at 9,7 thousand units.

Also last year September the TOYOTA COROLLA was the best sold car, but then with 106 registrations. the star performer was the HYUNDAI TUCSON, with 12 units more. Other models on the podium were the NISSAN QASHQAI with 30 registrations, followed by the TOYOTA COROLLA TOURING SPORTS with 29 units. In September the Market was down vs. last year with -8,8%. Year to date, the total market is however up with 5,2%, and is now at 60,2k units.

The Slovakian market slowed down in September with a decrease of -0,6k units. The total market so far for the year is 60,2k units, up with 3k units. The monthly decrease is mainly driven by SKODA (-659), PEUGEOT (-154) and DACIA (-150). For the full year, the most sold brands are: SKODA (12774), HYUNDAI (6112) and VW (6056).

UNITED KINGDOM: Performance brands September

KIA has the biggest increase of the English market compared to 2020, with 16900 registrations more. FORD meanwhile is struggling, with -18500 less registrations.

Compared to last year, the English market has increased with 5,9 %. The winners in the following order: KIA, AUDI and HYUNDAI. Brands in trouble are FORD, RENAULT and MERCEDES. The best sold brand over the year is: VW, followed by FORD and AUDI.

ARGENTINIA: The market went up in August

The passenger car market grew +3,5% to 20386 units, and the commercial vehicle market increased by +0,3% to 8955 units.

2021 biggest passenger cars brands in Argentina are: TOYOTA, FIAT and VW. The top ranked commercial vehicle brands are TOYOTA, VW and FORD. Best sold model so far is the FIAT CRONOS, with 27471 registrations, followed by the VW GOL, that found 12976 customers. The podium is completed by the 11201 units of the TOYOTA ETIOS. AUSTRIA: August Performance

Compared to last year, the Norwegian market has increased with 5,4 %. The winners in the following order: VOLVO, PEUGEOT and POLESTAR. Brands in trouble are VW, AUDI and HYUNDAI. The best sold brand over the year is: TOYOTA, followed by VOLVO and BMW.

PORTUGAL: PEUGEOT 2008 is the best sold car in February

SPAIN: Fleet market down, also Private sales down
