Privacy Policy for Applicants

1. In General

In this data protection declaration we inform you how we at Dataforce Verlagsgesellschaft für Business Informations mbH (Hamburger Allee 14 in 60486 Frankfurt, HRB 43146) handle your personal data collected during the application process. By submitting your application you agree to these data protection regulations.

 

2. Personal data as part of the application process

Personal data is information about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as name, address, telephone number and date of birth, but also data about the specific career path etc., which can be assigned to a specific person.

 

3. Collection and processing of personal data

If you apply for a vacant position or make an unsolicited application via the application system on our website, you voluntarily provide personal data and information (first name, last name, email address, telephone number, and any attachments such as your CV, cover letter, etc.).
This transmitted data is transmitted using TLS encryption and stored in a database, which is the responsibility of our company and operated by a third-party company called Personio GmbH (www.personio.de). With Personio GmbH, which offers personnel management and applicant management software and stores data exclusively on ISO-certified servers in Germany, we have a corresponding data protection agreement within the meaning of Section 11 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) Art. 28 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) ).
If you send an unsolicited application directly to karriere@dataforce.de, the encryption depends on your email service provider.
Responsible employees of our company can access the named database in order to fill vacant positions with suitable candidates.

 

4. Using WhatsApp to contact you

We offer applicants the opportunity to contact us via the WhatsApp messenger service.

If you contact us via the WhatsApp messenger service, you will automatically send us your mobile number. This will not be assigned to your customer data and will not be used for further contacts by Dataforce Verlagsgesellschaft mbH.

 

5. Storage of personal data

The personal data is generally stored exclusively for the purpose of filling the vacant position for which you have applied. In addition, we will save your data for 90 days after the application process has ended in order to be able to answer questions in connection with your application and any rejection.
We also reserve the right to save your data for inclusion in our “Talent Pool” for 180 days after the application process has ended in order to identify any other interesting positions for you. By submitting your application, you agree to the storage going beyond the legal requirements. You can revoke this consent at any time and object to the storage of your data (see also 9.).

 

6. Deletion of personal data

You can contact us at any time via karriere@dataforce.de to arrange for your data to be deleted. After the storage periods set out in section 5 have expired, your data will be anonymized. The data is then only available to us as so-called metadata without direct personal reference for statistical evaluations (e.g. proportion of women or men in applications, number of applications per period, etc.).

 

7. Disclosure of personal data

Your personal data will only be passed on if Dataforce Verlagsgesellschaft für Business Informations mbH is legally obliged to do so or if it is necessary in the event of misuse or clarification. However, this requires concrete evidence of illegal or abusive behavior. On the order of a competent body, we may provide information about this data (inventory data) in individual cases, especially for the purposes of law enforcement.

 

8. Security of your personal data

Both we as a company, any employees who are involved in the application process, and third-party companies such as Personio GmbH, are instructed to take appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect personal data from misuse, unauthorized publication and loss. These measures at least meet the requirements of § 9 BDSG and § 32 DSGVO.

 

9. Your Rights

You have the right to request information from us about your stored data in accordance with § 34 BDSG Art. 15 GDPR. In addition, you have to the extent of § 35 BDSG Art. 16ff. GDPR the right to request us to correct, delete and block your personal data. The data protection declaration is currently valid and dated January 22, 2018. Due to the further development of our application process or the implementation of new functions or technologies, it may become necessary to change these data protection regulations. We reserve the right, at any time to make appropriate changes.
