English passenger car market down in March, as well as the commercial vehicle market

The passenger car market went down by -44.4% to 254684 units, the commercial vehicle market contracted with -54.1% to 30440 units.

2020 biggest passenger cars brands in United Kingdom are: VW, FORD and BMW. The top ranked commercial vehicle brands are FORD, PEUGEOT and VW. Best sold model so far is the FORD FIESTA, with 15897 registrations, followed by the VW GOLF, that found 14587 customers. The podium is completed by the 14036 units of the FORD FOCUS. For commercial vehicles, the best sold vehicles are the FORD TRANSIT CUSTOM (9392), the FORD TRANSIT (5395), and the MERCEDES SPRINTER with 4717 units.
