German fleet market up in 2019, but Private sales down

In 2019 861 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in Germany, which is 107900 more than in 2018.
The total market for 2019 is 3323.9k units, up with 125.2k units. Private Sales decreased with -0.5%, which represent around -6000 vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the VW GOLF with 37178 sales, followed by the VW POLO (28277), and the VW TIGUAN (28277). Number 1 fleet seller has been the VW GOLF (43918), while the VW PASSAT (29037) comes in second. The podium is completed by the SKODA OCTAVIA (26982).
