Swiss fleet market up in 2021, also Private sales up

Frankfurt, 09.08.21

So far this year 29,8 thousand true fleet vehicles have been sold in Switzerland, which is 3,5 thousand more than last year.

The total market so far for the year is 144 thousand, up with 17,9 thousand units. Private Sales increased with 18,8%, which represent around 12,5 thousand vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the VW TIGUAN with 1761 sales, followed by the TESLA MODEL 3 (1758), and the MERCEDES A CLASS (1572). Number 1 fleet seller has been the SKODA OCTAVIA (1532) so far, while the VW TIGUAN (669) comes in second. The podium is completed by the BMW X1 (556).
