VW GOLF is the best sold car in August in Germany, followed by the VW PASSAT

In August the Market was -20% lower than last year. In addition, the year so far is negative, with a -28,8% decrease, and stands now at 1776,6 thousand units.

Also last year August the VW GOLF was the best sold car, but then with 9523 registrations. The biggest growth came from outside the top 10, and was the TESLA MODEL 3, with 2824 vehicles more. Other models on the podium were the VW PASSAT with 5562 registrations, followed by the VW T-ROC with 5059 units. Completing the Top 10: MERCEDES GLC, GLK CLASS (5029), OPEL CORSA (4969), SKODA OCTAVIA (4966), MERCEDES A CLASS (4809), FIAT DUCATO (4496), VW TIGUAN (4454) and the VW POLO (3818).
